The Parlier Unified School District Governing Board is asking for volunteers to sit on the Stakeholder Interview Committee for the new Superintendent. The committee will be made up of 15 people comprising 3 teachers, 2 classified staff, 2 administrators, 7 parents (one from each of the schools) selected by 7 individual school draws from volunteers, and the Student Body President. The committee is expected to be available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17th to interview four candidates and give feedback on the strengths and concerns of each candidate during a facilitated meeting after each interview. The interview is confidential and each participant must sign a document stating that they will not share any information from the interview with anyone. There will be a short organizational meeting at 8:00 a.m. to review the questions and go over interviewing protocols. The session will be done entirely by Zoom.

The unions will determine the candidates for the teachers and classified staff. The drawing for parents will be done in Open Session at the next Regular Board Meeting. All names will be announced at the August 11th Board Meeting.

La Mesa Directiva del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Parlier está pidiendo voluntarios para formar el Comité para las Entrevistas del Superintendente con los partes interesados. El comité estará compuesto por 15 personas compuestas por 3 maestros, 2 empleados clasificados, 2 administradores, 7 padres (uno de cada una de las escuelas) seleccionados por 7 sorteos y el Presidente del Cuerpo Estudiantil.
